Brain Power

I came across this Japanese Brain Evaluation(?) site today. I am not entirely sure what it says but apparently you are supposed to put in your name in the box and it will generate what is in your head. I think…
The brain on the left is generated from my Chinese name and the one on the right is my English name.
Apparently, my Chinese named brain thinks only about money ( 金 the characters in yellow) and a little bit about eating (食 the one character in green).
My brain with the English name shows that I think mostly about friends (友 the blue stuff); only a little bit about love (愛 the pink character); mystery (秘 the one in light purple); resting (休 not sure if that is what this one means, but it is the one in white); and also a little bit about eating - 食.
Haha, which one do you think describes me more accurately?
UPDATE: Omg, I didn’t realize the other kinds of awesome info I can find out from this site… for example, I think the 16th reincarnation of me is going to be a designer for “The Terminator” and I will have a panda robot. Also, if I have a band, the name is “White poison” and I play the triangle. I seriously need to learn some Japanese…

I almost forgot what my last entry looked like… Today, I left work at 5:30 and went into the park and kicked back on the grass in Sheep’s Meadow to immerse myself in some deep thoughts. Then I realized that I never played the game where one tries to identify shapes or things in clouds. I don’t see anything… I see the face shape of an angry man shouting after rotating the picture a bit in photoshop, though…
The pink and white flowers have all disappeared from the trees, and you get these things making their way down to the ground. They are quite beautiful.

On the way home, I noticed this:

Why is this faucet locked? Is it humor?
On a totally different-yet-confessional-therefore-update-worthy note, I am officially addicted to that show Gossip Girl.
1 commentPhotos from China & a little bit of Japan

I got back from China about 2 weeks ago, but I am just now putting up the photos.
It was my 3rd time in Beijing and these trips are really different from each other. I took this one to visit CAFA, galleries, the pandas, pigeon lofts and to hang out with my Pop. Also… running into the cherry blossom season in Japan was a nice treat, too.
Take a look at the photos here
Also… previous trips:

New York has a serious obsession/infatuation problem with Japan-imports.
Just to name a few… Muji, Uniqlo, BAPE (oh gawd…), sushi and, of course, ramen. Tonight, I tried the much [over]hyped ramen at Ippudo, a recently opened New York shop of a Japan chain. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for a table… The soup was good, but not spectacular. The pork, noodles and dessert were delicious though. I don’t remember the real Ippudo as a trendy $15 bowl of ramen.
I guess recession does not mean a thing to us New Yorkers. We will pay anything to taste that new bowl of ramen in town after we buy some 100%-marked-up Muji goods. (By the way, I LOVE ramen and Muji, just not at NY prices.)
Here is one splendid Japan-import, though, Yebisu beer at $6 a bottle.
Shout outs to my Ebisu peeps. Woot!
1 commentThink twice before you hit that burrito.
NYC calorie craze… My favorite thing to get from Chipotle is the burrito bowl with chips and 1300 calories and 3288mg of sodium.
